Pre-Care Instructions
FOR BEST RESULT FOLLOW ALL PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS, REMEMBER THIS IS YOUR FACE.
- DO NOT workout the day of procedure
- DO NOT wax, thread or tint your brows before the procedure
- DO NOT tan or have sunburned face
- DO NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen 48hrs before procedure
- DO NOT use any products containing Retin A/ Retinol for 4 weeks prior to procedure
- DO NOT use AHA skin care products on your forehead for 2 weeks prior
- DO NOT get botox on or near the brow 4 weeks prior
- AVOID caffeine and alcohol 48 hours prior to procedure to minimize bleeding and swelling
- AVOID chemical peels or micro-dermabrasion 4 weeks prior
*please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle
**pre-care instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during procedure. Excessive bleeding may lead to poor results.
Post-Care Instructions
DO NOT touch the healing pigmented area with your fingers, they may have bacteria on them and create an infection.
For the 1st day, gently dab treated area every hour for the next 3 hours with a lightly damp paper towel or tissue to remove excess lymph fluids
Gently cleanse area twice a day with provided cleanser and water. Dab area dry. Avoid getting treated area wet other than when cleansing.
Starting on the 3rd day, apply a THIN layer of ointment twice daily. Skip this step if you have oily skin. For combination skin, apply only when itchy.
Treated area will scab and peel, DO NOT pick or pull on scabs, this could result in a lost of color and/or scarring. Let scabs fall off naturally.
For 10-14 days
- Avoid pools, saunas, steam rooms, hot showers, and hot baths
- Avoid exercise and excessive sweating. Sweating will cause migration of pigment and lead to poor results
- Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds
- Avoid makeup and skincare products on treated area
**The first 7 days are the most crucial for exellent results, post-care must be followed.
